Heart Attacks
According the the American Heart Association, 75 million
Americans currently suffer from heart disease, 20 million have
diabetes and 57 million have pre-diabetes. And these disorders are
affecting younger and younger people in greater numbers every year.
Despite the fact that 25% of the population takes expensive
statin medications and despite the fact we have reduced the fat
content of our diets, more Americans will die this year of heart
disease than ever before.
What is wrong with this picture? How can we spend so much money
on a disease and have more deaths? Are we taking the wrong approach?
Could our medical science be treating the wrong thing?
So you go to your doctor and he says "Bad News, your cholesterol
is too high." Many people might be surprised to hear that since they
cholesterol was the same as it was during last year's test." But the
current standard for recommended cholesterol levels have dropped and
now its a problem. So now you are "Suddenly
Sick." (read this article for an eye opener.) Then your doctor
says you need to start taking a statin drug to get that cholesterol
level down. Yes, get it down to the normal level where most people
die of heart attacks. More than 50% of people with heart attacks
have "normal" cholesterol levels.
In Dr. Tim Reynolds article linked from this page, he says it
is a myth that cholesterol is the cause of heart disease and
statin drugs are the answer to anything. In fact there are studies
being done right now that could show that statin drugs are a cause
of heart disease due to the fact they rob your body of Coenzyme Q10
which your heart muscle needs to function normally. I strongly
suggest you read this excellent article by Dr. Reynolds.
Don't miss reading Dwight Lundell MD's article,
Heart Surgeon Admits Huge Mistake! After
doing 5,000 open heart surgeries over the last 25 years, Dr. Lundell
recognizes he and his peers have been treating the wrong thing at
best. He say that the accepted therapy was to prescribe medications
to lower cholesterol and a diet that severely restricts fat intake.
In his words, "It is not working." According the Dr. Lundell the one
common thing that all 5,000 of his patients shared was inflammation
of the artery walls. It is this inflammation that causes LDL
Cholesterol to stick to the walls. It is not the level of
cholesterol. And eating animal fats are better than polyunsaturated
oils which are a cause of this inflammation. This is a must read
since it will redefine what you know about how to combat heart
attacks. You are very likely to have been misinformed and doing
things that will cause a heart attack.
The article here called "Healthy France" just adds to the above
information. The French has a far lower rate of heart attacks then
we do here in the US. Yet, their diet is quite contrary to what we
are told is a healthy diet. Many French are smokers and they drink
lots of wine. But the French have a longer life expectancy than we
do. But when you read this you can see, what we have been told is
the cause of heart attacks isn't true.
